Air Austral to buy two A380s with 840 seats

Air Austral, based in Reunion island, will become the first airline to fly planes carrying over 840 people after confirming an order for two Airbus A380 superjumbos later on Monday, industry sources said according to Reuters. The sources said a provisional order for two of the European planes worth some $650 million at list prices, placed in January, would was expected to be firmed up at the Dubai event.
