Following a grand military parade, the mass procession, in 35 formations with different themes, began at around 11:20 a.m. in front of the famous Tian’anmen Rostrum at the heart of Beijing. About 8,500 people joined the formations unfolding achievements of the country, turning Tian’anmen Square into a stage for a great show of their floats’ catwalk.
